During Family Week, FS & KS1 children will be taught the NSPCC lesson - Talk PANTS. The lesson teaches children to understand that their body belongs to them, and they should tell someone they trust if anything makes them feel upset or worried.

Money Day Winners
Congratulations to Alice and Ava who are the school winners of the money day Fiver at Home challenge.
Alice created a brilliant business called I love jam and particularly impressed me with her powerful sales video. The gooseberry jam I purchased from Alice's business was delicious! Ava created a unique business which offers to clean your dirty BBQ for you!! Definitely a gap in the market Ava. I will be sending off both business plans to the Young Enterprise team to see if they can win the national prize!!
Well done to both of you, your prize will be with you as soon as it arrives in school!
Wheel of wisdom winner 13th July
Well done to everyone who completed last week's reading wheel of wisdom challenge, watch carefully to see if you are a winner!!!!
This week is the final week I will be running the wheel of wisdom so for this week I am doing a neatness challenge!!! I want you to choose one piece of work each day (monday to friday) and present it as neatly as you can so that when you look at the piece of work you are very proud of how it looks. It might be a piece of maths work, a piece of writing or even a drawing or colouring page! Think about using your neatest handwriting, maybe a ruler to draw lines and make sure you colour in very carefully. If you would like to send me a photo of your neatest piece of work, I would love to see it and I might even choose a prize for the neatest piece of work!!! My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Mental Health Support Team Competition. We work closely with the Mental Health Support Team to help us promote positive wellbeing amongst all our pupils and staff. The MHST are looking for a new logo for their team so they are running this competition with some great prizes. If you would like to take part all the details are below. Please also email me your designs to email@example.com so I can see your brilliant work. Good luck! Mrs Belton
Well done to everyone who completed their writing challenge last week and made it to the wheel of wisdom, watch carefully to see if you are a winner!!! This week I challenge you to read for at least 20 minutes every day monday to Friday. Enjoy getting lost in a good book, I know I am going to!!
Wheel of wisdom winners 29th June
Well done to everyone who made it to the wheel of wisdom this week and congratulations to the winners!!! Next week's challenge is to do some writing every single day and then I will send out a questionnaire via text on Friday to see who has completed the challenge. You might want to write a letter to someone you haven't seen for a while. How about writing your own story, you could do a chapter every single day. Maybe you could write out a recipe for your favourite meal or the instructions for your favourite game. Look on your class page to see if there are any writing tasks there. Good luck and happy writing!!
Just a short video to try and prepare you and your parents on how going back to school is going to work. We can’t wait to see Foundation and Year 1 back as well as all the key worker children who will continue to be coming in. Hopefully we will get to see the rest of you as soon as possible too, stay strong, stay home and stay safe.
Wheel of wisdom!
Are you practising lots of english and maths skills to make you wise?! Well each week, I am going to set a challenge to win yourself the chance to get your name on the wheel of wisdom!! Watch the video to find out more!!!
Mindfulness. Have a go at some of these mindfulness challenges. Mindfulness helps you to relax. It helps you to focus carefully on all your senses, your feelings, your thoughts and the environment around you. Mindfulness stops you worrying about things in the past or the future and helps you think about the very moment you are in! Have fun
Well done to everyone who took part in the well-being activities and a huge congratulations to our 4 winners. I'll let you watch the video to hear who they are!
