In English we have been looking at instructions and how to follow them. We have looked at the features of instructions and the importance of instructions being in chronological order. We had a go at planting our seeds and followed the instructions carefully. In history, we have been looking at the Stone Age and exploring cave people. We went to the woodland, and we made our own collages and some children made their own animals from the Stone Age. In maths we have continued to look at fractions (half and quarters) and we know that to find half we split numbers, objects and shapes into two groups. To find quarters we split numbers, objects and shapes into four groups. In PE, we have continued to develop our ball skills and been practicing side stepping. In people skills we looked at how to improve our environment and we spoke about how people harm the environment. Next week we will make our own rain gauges to monitor the rainfall.
Our caterpillars are still growing and on Friday they turned into chrysalis' 🐛🦋
