Another busy week in class 1!

In Computing, we looked at how to add pictures to our spreadsheets. In English we looked at fantasy and what makes a story fantasy. In Maths we explored arrays and doubling. We looked at collages in Art and created our own using scrap pieces of paper. We then showcased our work in Class 1's art gallery where we looked at each other's work and celebrated the art work we created. During people skills we looked at our classroom rules and spoke about them. In History, we were introduced to the ice age and discussed which animals lived during that time including animals that are extinct now. We enjoyed reading the story 'Barry: Fish with Fingers' in Guided Reading. We looked at the vocabulary and used our inference skills to make an emotion graph.
