Welcome back! We have had a busy time at school after the Easter holidays. 
 

This week we have been learning about counting in 2s, 5s and 10s in Maths. We have learnt songs, chanted the times tables and spotted numbers on 100 grids. 

In English, We have been exploring the text: Zoo Animals: What can you see? We looked at the repeating patterns and made actions to help us to remember it. Next week we will have a go at writing our own narratives using farm animals. We have explored farm animals, thinking about what they look like, their personality, where they live and came up with some adjectives to support. 
 

In PE, we have been practicing ball skills and in Art we were introduced to collages. In Science we role-played shops and pretended that we were buying clothes for our dolls based on the weather of the day. We looked at which clothes were appropriate and which were not. We used "money" to buy the clothes. 
 

We had our school trip to Perlethorpe on Friday, we had so much fun. Pictures from the trip will be on the website soon! 😁
